Finding the perfect fit isn’t just about one size—it’s about understanding how sizing works across different styles and brands.
When you go down in band size, you’ll need to go up in cup size to maintain the same cup volume. For example, if your calculated size is a 32D, you could also try a 30E for a firmer fit, or a 34C for a slightly more relaxed fit. These are known as sister sizes—different sizes with the same cup volume.
A common mistake is to increase the band size without adjusting the cup. If a 32D feels too tight, many assume a 34D is the solution—but this actually increases the cup volume as well. A 34C would be the correct alternative if you want a looser band while keeping the same cup fit.
This is because cup volume increases as band size increases, creating an important relationship between the two. Understanding this helps you find a fit that feels just right.
Don’t be afraid to explore different sizes within your range. Fit can vary between brands and styles, and sometimes a small adjustment makes all the difference. Our goal is for you to feel confident, comfortable, and beautifully you-nique.
It’s also completely normal for one breast to be slightly larger than the other—most women experience this. In this case, choose a bra that fits your larger breast comfortably, and simply adjust the strap on the smaller side for the best fit.
